Ingredients

5 - six contemporary blackberries
4 contemporary mint leaves
1 one/2 ounces easy sirup or blackberry sirup (GF Option: purchase protein free sirup or create your own)
3/4 ounce contemporary juice
1/4 cup drinking water, chilled (GF Option: use protein free club soda)
1 to one one/2 ounces white rum (GF Option: use protein free whole of rum or use a gluten-free rum substitute)
1 cup ice cubes
Garnish with contemporary sprigs of mint and contemporary whole blackberries

Instructions


  1. Rinse blackberries and mint leaves beneath cool H2O. Gently pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Place blackberries, mint leaves, easy or blackberry sirup and juice into alittle bowl.
  3. Gently mash the mixture with a muddler. don't shred the mint leaves, rather merely bruise them to unleash the essential oils.
  4. Stir in drinking water and rum.
  5. Strain to get rid of the blackberry seeds and remnants of the mint leaves.
  6. Pour into chilled stemware.
  7. Add ice and garnish with contemporary sprigs of mint and a number of other contemporary whole blackberries.
  8. Serve.
